‘What the heck is that?!’ exclaimed Sue as she removed her coat and hung it neatly on the coat rack in the hall. She was still staring as her husband finally appeared at the top of the stairs. On the console table in the hall was a very dirty skull with a little bronze crown glued to it. The glue had clearly not been applied very carefully as it had dripped and oozed out down the back of the skull. Sue wrinkled her nose in disgust. ‘Hmm?’ said Joe not really registering what she meant straight away, then he realised as he saw her peering at it. ‘Oh, THAT!’ ‘Well??’ She said impatiently, positively glaring at Joe over her driving glasses.
